Martin Laurence

Senior Videographer | Filmmaker | Video Editor

I specialise in shaping complex ideas, real-world stories, and brand narratives into engaging video content.

My work spans documentary-style interviews, branded storytelling, cinematic promos, and experimental digital series — with a focus on pacing, structure, and audience engagement.

Below is a selection of projects demonstrating narrative editing, visual storytelling, and high-quality post-production.

Ariel Product Video for P&G

I produced and edited this cinematic product video for Ariel Max Power Pods, designed to highlight the brand’s strength and connect with the consumer experience.

The film tells a dramatic, story-driven narrative: contrasting the frustration of traditional washing powders with the effectiveness and reliability of Ariel’s solution.

Working closely with the client, I interpreted their brief and layered in my own cinematic approach. This included:

  • Dynamic editing to heighten the drama

  • Music and sound design with carefully selected SFX and tonal shifts

  • Light and visual effects to emphasise impact

  • Voice over performance (recorded and performed by me), which the client approved as the final narration

The result is a polished, story-led brand film that merges commercial clarity with cinematic storytelling.

Story-led Branded Video Content.

This is a Prodrive Interview-driven storytelling edit exploring engineering heritage and craftsmanship.

From filming and editing to grading and finishing, I focus on delivering videos that feel polished, dynamic, and story-driven — bringing a cinematic edge to commercial content.

Reel Scares - YouTube Horror Stories

We produced and edited the main video for ‘Reel Scares’ YouTube Channel. The concept was to create an introduction to Reel Scares; a grounded British psychological horror anthology series where ordinary lives unravel through time slips, liminal spaces, unsettling doppelgängers, folk terrors, and technology that seems to watch us back.

Ghost Runner is a AI-driven cyberpunk vertical series exploring cinematic storytelling in short-form format.

Cinematic Expansion

It all begins with an idea.

US Beverage Product Video - Good Dogg

I filmed and edited this lifestyle promo for Good Dogg Beverage, an international US hard seltzer brand. The video was created for their clothing merch line, where 100% of profits support special needs children and dog shelters.

The brief called for a piece that matched the brand’s vibrant energy while showcasing the vintage-inspired style of their apparel. To achieve this, I:

  • Used a gimbal to create dynamic, cinematic tracking shots around the models, keeping the visuals fluid and engaging

  • Styled the edit with a bold, vibrant colour grade to reflect the brand’s playful personality

  • Combined vintage-inspired visuals with modern electro music, creating a fresh contrast that gave the promo its unique vibe

The result is a fast-paced, energetic lifestyle video that communicates the brand’s values while appealing to their target audience.
